Screencasting and Recording
The HTC Vive Focus Plus supports screencasting to the majority of Windows 10 and Android devices (PC, TV and Tablets) via Miracast. Via the Vive Enterprise platform it is possible to screen capture sessions on the device.
Second, the HTC Vive Focus Plus provides users with one of the largest fields of view in its category. The 110 degree field of view is higher compared to the Oculus Quest 2 (100 degrees), Quest 1 (100 degrees) and Pico Neo 2 (101 degrees). The larger field of view allows the Vive Focus to provide a higher level of immersion, making the experience more natural and satisfactory.
Third, the Vive Focus Plus has built in extra spacing to accommodate users with glasses. If you wear glasses, you can wear them inside of the Vive Focus without a problem. Further, it’s possible to set the IPD of the glass via a button at the bottom of the headset.
Fourth, The headset has a 3-part headstrap system to distribute the weight evenly over your head. This way the headset is more comfortable to wear for longer periods of time.
Fifth, the HTC Vive Focus has been built with hygiene in mind. The majority of the device uses synthetic materials, which can be easily wiped down. The Vive Focus Plus can be cleaned using over 70% alcohol solutions even on the lenses.
Finally, the Vive Focus Plus works with inside out tracking thanks to four built in cameras. This means that no external accessories are needed for room scale VR. This makes the HTC Vive Focus easy to transport, deploy and use.
